French team Nimes won the Challenge Cup trophy, after they beat the German Thuringen in the finals. Nimes won the both games with the team from Erfurt(26-22 and 30-25), easier than expected. The French team had a much harder task in the semifinal since they went through by a goal, against German team Blomberg. So, this year the roles of the french and german teams changed, since last year in the german-french final the better team was the German team Oldenburg.
